A boutique Nashville tour company is looking for someone with a unique blend of shop and service management, as well as strong mechanical skills. This manager would run daily operations of the company, coordinating customers and employees, maintaining government relations, and performing maintenance as required.
Nashville Bar Bike operates two Party Bikes in downtown Nashville, 7 days a week. The ideal candidate for this position would have a mechanical background, strong organizational and communication skills, and a gregarious and outgoing personality. Applicants must have at least two years of prior management experience, preferably running a service department or managing a service based business. A basic understanding of electronic systems and automotive/bicycle maintenance would be helpful.
The manager would build and develop an enthusiastic team dedicated to providing lasting memories for our bar bike tour guests through excellent service. They would also manage repairs and follow a maintenance schedule to maximizing fleet usage. The manager would have to create and implement easy to follow processes and procedures. This is a unique and rewarding role that requires a positive outlook and a specific skill set.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations
Ensure customers are having excellent and safe service
Oversee and schedule a small staff
Operator training
Customer service response
Encourage feedback from customers and staff
Perform routine maintenance
Mechanical troubleshooting
Operate party bike weekly
Qualifications
Previous management experience
Mechanical, electrical, or engineering background
Basic electrical knowledge
Social media competency
Strong leadership and problem solving skills
Outgoing personality
Salary/Wage:
This position has a $80,000 annual base salary (for full time) with an added profit share after 6 months of employment. Profit share should add $10,000 - $40,000 annually when it kicks in, based on specific metrics across multiple facets of the business. So as you grow with us, so does your take home pay.
Managers will also be excepted to operate the Party Bikes periodically, and tips average $100-200 per ride (2 hour time blocks).
