Looking for Service Manager/Lead Service Technician III at growing gravel/adventure bike shop, SweetWater Bikes with $1M sales revenue. We're a 46+ year old shop that's created generations of cyclists located in Ambridge, 15 miles outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Ambridge is a growing town with deep steel town roots. Think urban suburban with new breweries, taquerias and coffee shops and a mix of new and established. We also run the largest gravel event in Western PA, the Whiskey Rebellion Gravel and have created Penn's Woods Passage, the only gravel bike packing route across the State of PA. We also support our local community through BikePGH, local mountain races, our local non-profit Communicycle and other gravel events. We carry Giant, Jamis, Salsa, Bombtrack, OPEN, 3T in a space of 14,000 sq ft.
We are offering $20-$24 per hour compensation, employer-contributed healthcare, 3 weeks paid time off plus paid holidays, rotating Saturdays off with NO Sunday work and industry employee discounts. Signing bonus and/or relocation assistance will be provided. You'll have at least 3 years experience in a for-profit bike shop, either as Service Manager or in the Lead Service Technician position or you'll be ready to move up. You'll run the Service Dept and report to the Store Manager. Salary is commensurate with experience and skill.
