Iowa's premier active transportation nonprofit, the Des Moines Street Collective, wants you, specifically (maybe)! We're looking for a non-public-facing full-time mechanic who wants to express themselves in their work and who has a deep knowledge of vintage bike parts.
Located in the hub of Iowa's cycling scene, the DSM Street Collective Bike shop provides active transportation to the Des Moines area. We offer competitive pay, paid time off, vacation time, and the opportunity to create bikes for a good cause. Our partner organizations include Habitat for Humanity, Refugee Services at the Iowa Department of Human Services, numerous transitional housing programs, and more. Our bikes go out into the world and do good.
