The Loose Wheel Bicycle Co. Located in Cedar Grove, NJ offers a full selection of bicycles, gear, and services is looking for an experienced Bicycle Mechanic/Service Manager to work with a team of Junior Mechanics and other team members in a fun and judgement free environment!
We love working with bikes and with the people who love bikes. This is an opportunity to grow from you current Bicycle Mechanic responsibilities into more of a leadership role with a new and growing bicycle retailer!
Responsibilities
Manage and Mentor Junior Techs
Treat each customer and colleague with respect and compassion
Use a wide range of skills for bike repair, assembly, and service
Maintain a strong knowledge of shop products
Provide welcoming, positive, and unwavering customer service to every single person
Build a client base through development of customer relations
Qualifications
Your a leader or strive to be one
You want to be something more than just a Bicycle Mechanic
You have 1+ years bike mechanic experience
Retail experience a plus (preferably in the cycling industry, but not required)
Self-driven, but also thrives working in a team
A love for cycling culture
