Job Description
West End Bikes is looking for a bicycle assembly mechanic to join our team. Primary duties would be the assembly and after sale maintenance of new bicycles. The opportunity to grow into a position of bicycle repair person is also available. We service a wide variety of bikes including premium road bikes, commuter bikes, and e-bikes.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, attention to detail, and the positive customer experience we offer.
Ideal traits include:
• While experience as a bicycle mechanic in a retail environment is beneficial, it is not required for the right person.
• Demonstration of good basic mechanical aptitude and the willingness and ability to learn.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Excellent problem-solving & communication skills.
• A passion for cycling.
